About Us

I am a native Washingtonian. Born on the dry-side of the state but raised on the wet-side. I’ve called the Greater Pugetopolis my home for over 50 years. I am married to my “best friend” and we love to travel.

Northwest Memories was started by happenstance. We love to travel but I was frustrated by the lack of embellishments for the places we visited, especially “acid-free” items. I found some laser cuts at the Expo in Portland, Oregon and brought some home. I asked Deanna, the owner of my local scrapbook store, if she could look into getting some of these. Her suggestion was “Maybe you should look into making these.” That was the beginning of Northwest Memories.

Our laser cuts are primarily of the Pacific Northwest but as we travel, new destinations are continuously added. We also take requests from customers and can do most items requested. We do not charge an additional fee for designing custom work.

We have created designs that use only acid free and lignin free paper. We have over 300 colors of cardstock as well as specialty papers. Most of our cardstock is by Bazzill. Most of the designs are assembled for your convenience.
